Piercing Aftercare Instructions:

New piercings should be cleaned twice daily for the entire healing period.

Use a Sterile Saline Spray

Spray saline solution over the piercing to thoroughly rinse the area.

Your jewelry does not need to be rotated.

Popular brands of sterile saline spray include H2Ocean®, Steri-Wash®, NeilMed® saline solution, and Simply Saline™ Wound Wash.

Saline for cleaning contact lenses is not recommended.

For Oral Piercings, Rinse Your Mouth.

For oral piercings, rinse your mouth with water after eating, drinking, or smoking.

Use a non-alcoholic mouthwash to rinse your mouth twice a day and brush your teeth as normal.

Do Not:

Do not use rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide. These are both too harsh for long-term use and can slow healing.

Do not use ointment.

Keep your jewelry in during the healing process.
Once the piercing has fully healed, you can swap out your jewelry, but never leave it out for more time than it takes to insert a new piece.

Avoid touching your new piercing.
There's no need to twist or rotate the jewelry while it's healing. Unless you're cleaning it, keep your hands away to prevent irritation or infection.

Don’t be alarmed by a bit of bleeding or bruising.
It’s normal to see some light bleeding right after your piercing, and a little bruising can happen too. Totally expected as your body begins to heal.
